Dining in Tallahassee, Part I: The Appetizer

I, like most people, thoroughly enjoy eating. While I’ll admit, I’m much more qualified to list off some good restaurants in Tampa, I’m going to start with one in ‘Noleville. So, I’m a big fan of one-of-a-kind, hole-in-the-wall places, as long as they are clean and, of course, have excellent food. I don’t discriminate though. Just because a place is a chain, well, hey, that means they did something right, right? ANYWAY, this was supposed to be about the Renaissance Café at Railroad Square. I’ve been there three times now, twice for lunch, once for dinner (which is a bit too pricey. I recommend lunch). Here’s why you might want to go:
1. Good food – (sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, coffee, tea, cranberry coconut bars anyone? I know Amanda’s with me)
2. Good music – The first time I went, Sufjan Stevens was playing in the background
3. Good atmosphere – Historic caboose? Outdoor seating? I guess technically the music goes under atmosphere too, but whatever, I’m lazy (clearly I have no intention of making this blog thing a regular thing). Good service? Check. Also, they keep copies of the Yeti, which I’ll put in the “good reading material” category. Oh, and the toilet paper is soft. Isn’t it always the little details?

Oop scoopa wee-bop, bonk, deek!
